Provisional government for Russia.
The Great Depression: The economic crisis in the U.S. beginning with the stock market crash in 1929 and continuing through the 1930s. It was a period period of time where unemployment was high, food was scarce, and there was political unrest. The Great Depression originated in the United States, but quickly spread to Europe and the rest of the world.

Intelligentsia-Intellectuals or highly educated people as a group, esp. when regarded as possessing culture and political influence.

League of Nations- An organization set up to promote international cooperation and peace. It was proposed by Woodrow Wilson, after World War One, ironically because the United States never joined the league

Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact: A pact signed between Hitler and Stalin regarding non-aggression towards each other before
World War Two. They were forming an ally against Britain and France
Nationalists- A person/persons with strong patriotic feelings, one who believes in the superiority of their country over others
Pan-Arabism- Secular Arab nationalist movement
Plan of Ayala-a document drafted by revolutionary leader Emiliano Zapata during the Mexican Revolution. In it, Zapata denounced President Francisco I. Madero for his perceived betrayal of the revolutionary ideals, embodied in Madero's Plan de San Luis, and set out his vision of land reform.
Pan-African Federation- a multinational Pan-African organization founded in Manchester, United Kingdom in 1944.

Treaty of Brest Litovsk: An agreement between Russia and Germany to suppress Russian involvement in the
war. Resulted in Germany gaining territory, and Germany and Russia agree to stop fighting with each other
